Teaching and Training in Ethics

Our research to date lion

This component has two interlinked and ongoing activities: (i) a research program on core content and teaching approaches, and (ii) an information and teaching materials exchange program. Contributions from participants in either category are welcome

Research on teaching and training lion

Three research programs are currently under development or proposed:

1. A questionnaire and exchange program on content of ethics teaching programs is under way. All teachers of ethics programs are invited to join. The objective is to exchange information and to determine the content ethics teachers consider important. Any teacher of ethics who is willing to submit his/her course content and/or complete a questionnaire should contact The Coordinator . All responses are confidential.

2. Members of the network have initiated a research program into the teaching of ethics in Civil Engineering. A paper outlining the concepts behind the research, believed to apply to all disciplines, is available from The Coordinator.

3. Contacts for collaboration on proposed research into Codes of Ethics in the Information Technology industry are proposed in the discussion area,

This site is seeking to make Australian ethics case problems and teaching materials more widely available, To submit case problems or materials, or to determine what is available, contact The Coordinator .
